Founded by award-winning artist and stair designer Nathie Katzoff in 2011, NK Woodworking & Design is one of the most respected architectural millwork & design firms in the world.

 

Based in Seattle and Los Angeles, Nathie and his team of highly skilled craftsman, engineers and designers; design and build architectural art pieces and ultra custom millwork for home owners, interior designers, architects and builders all over the US.

 

Our main 12,000 sq.ft workshop is located in Seattle Washington, and our satellite in Los Angeles, California.
This along with our network of artisans spaces is where we fabricate our work.

 

Our shop is like a commercial kitchen to a catering company. It is our efficient home base. Our craftsman team works full time here to make our custom woodwork, metal and glass architectural millwork & art pieces here. We then transport the work, be a custom curved staircase, doors, sculpture or some built in shelving to the residence for installation nationwide.

We start with ideas. This could be in collaboration with a designer, architect, builder or homeowner. Could be for a floating staircase, a whole house interior, a sculptural feature piece, or a simple bookshelf. The same process often applies.

 

Qualifications

  • 3d modeling, Cad modeling, structural engineering, sketches and shop drawings

  • Pre construction, planning, pricing, strategizing.

Fabrication

Installation

We make our work to the highest of quality standards in our 12,000 sq.ft woodshop, and get the parts made in as large of pieces as possible for installation nationwide.
